Paved Public Road
Level, Rolling, Stream
Eighty three acres located on Rt. 49 at the Lunenburg / Mecklenburg County line. The timber was cut several years ago and has come up in natural growth that provides great bedding habitat for the wildlife. There are a couple trails throughout the property making it completely accessible. The South Meherrin River fronts two of the four sides of the property. The Meherrin River starts in Lunenburg County and is a major travel route for the black bears coming from the Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuse and eastern NC. The topography, natural food sources and mild climate make for great bear habitat. There are nice white tail deer and turkeys that are on the property as well. There is a single line electric line running across the property proving electricity if needed and to open area would make great food plot areas. If you're looking for a great hunting property don't let this slip by.
